AlMaarefa University signed a memorandum of understanding with the Toastmasters Foundation to establish a branch of the club within the university, and this comes to keep pace with the development pursued by the university to develop talents and upgrade its students.
The university was represented by His Excellency Prof. Mohammed Al-Zamil, Vice Dean for Admission, Registration and Student Affairs, while the Toastmasters Foundation was represented by His Excellency Dr. Sulaiman Al-Madi, Chairman of the Saudi Toastmasters Clubs Committee, and Eng. Hassan Maghazel.
The signing ceremony was attended by Her Excellency Prof. Awatif Alem, Vice Dean for Female Student Affairs, and His Excellency Dr. Fahad Al-Zamil, Director General of the Department.
This memorandum aims to establish a club specialized in producing a generation capable of speaking fluently and competently in front of the public and a leader of the group.
In this context, Dr. Awatef Alem stated that this cooperation comes to the university’s aspiration to provide distinguished services to its students, taking into account and keenness to raise the level of quality of its outputs, and to raise students’ skills in the field of leadership and speaking in a way that qualifies them to launch and continue their practical journey within their community, God willing.
This agreement also comes as the first cooperation with Toastmasters and a breakthrough to continue establishing many vital projects in the service of students in the future.
