Governor of Diriyah inaugurates Healthy Cities Program Capacity Building Course
His Highness Prince Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Abdulrahman Al Saud, Governor of Diriyah Governorate and Chairman of the Diriyah Health City Program, inaugurated last Wednesday a capacity building and skills development course for employees of the Diriyah Health City Program, at the Business Center of Knowledge Colleges.
His Highness also signed with the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Colleges of Knowledge, Dr. Zaid bin Mohammed Al-Zamil, a community partnership agreement to serve the community, which is the first community agreement for the Healthy Cities Program after its restructuring.
His Highness thanked the program’s employees for their efforts during the past period, urging everyone to continue working towards serving the community, which deserves a lot, and thanked the Knowledge Colleges for implementing this course, and for the agreement that will allow the development of the program and serve the Diriyah community.

In continuation of strengthening strategic partnerships with success partners in the educational sector, Bank Albilad signed an agreement with the Colleges of Knowledge of Science and Technology to finance educational services for students of knowledge colleges who meet the conditions and criteria of Bank Albilad, where tuition fees are paid in easy installments without profit margin or additional fees.

The Saudi Red Crescent Authority signed a memorandum of understanding at the Authority’s headquarters in Riyadh today, which includes cooperation and training with the Colleges of Knowledge for Science and Technology.
Through this agreement, the two parties aim to build society and promote integration and participation in light of the comprehensive renaissance experienced by the Kingdom at all levels, especially in the health and education sectors, and to complete the message carried by both the authority and colleges, with the aim of laying the foundations of a strategic partnership for cooperation between the two parties to serve the goals for which both parties work.

On this occasion, His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Al Qassim said that this agreement comes from the Authority’s keenness to spread the culture of first aid among members of society in general, in addition to providing the necessary advice and recommendations regarding the standards of prevention and first aid at its sites.

G20 summit the premier forum for international economic cooperation
UM faculties have participated in G20 summit the premier forum for international economic cooperation. It gathers the leaders of the largest economies of the world to discuss financial and socioeconomic issues.
What is the G20?
The Group of Twenty, or the G20, is the premier forum for international economic cooperation. The G20 brings together the leaders of both developed and developing countries from every continent.
Collectively, G20 members represent around 80% of the world’s economic output, two-thirds of global population and three-quarters of international trade. Throughout the year, representatives from G20 countries gather to discuss financial and socioeconomic issues.
How does the G20 Work?
The presidency of the G20 rotates between member countries every year. The presidency plays a leading role in setting the agenda and organizing the Leaders’ Summit, which is attended by the G20 Heads of State or Government. At the Summit, the leaders issue a declaration, or communiqué, based on policy discussions at meetings held throughout the year.
In the run-up to the Summit, the presidency hosts several meetings featuring Ministers, senior government officials as well as civil society representatives. At the government level, the G20 work is organized around the Finance and Sherpa Tracks, while civil society assembles through Engagement Groups.

Digitalisation has become inevitable for the successful achievement of Sustainable Development Goals. The advancement of information and communication technologies, the improvement of medical technology, new approaches to streamline the educational system, and provision of equitable access to services and increased efficiency and well-being of the population served, have all made digital transformation an alternative and strategic way to achieve SDGs.
Delivery of high-quality goods and services in healthcare, education, finance, commerce, governance, agriculture and other vital areas has been made possible through the introduction and development of smart systems. These systems can help to reduce poverty and hunger, boost health, create new jobs, help mitigate climate change, improve energy efficiency, and make cities and communities more sustainable. In this regard, the interplay between digitalisation and sustainability creates bright opportunities for shaping a better economy and society, providing the way towards the SDGs.
This workshop will:
Examine the use of digitalisation in achieving SDGs; it will also conceptualise and contextualise the national and regional approaches
Discuss scholarly opinions and scientific studies to substantiate the role of digitalisation in achieving SDGs 3, 4 and 5
Explore resolutions to the issues of access to healthcare and services and inequitable education, with a special emphasis on women and under-served populations
Deep dive into specific issues:
How can we develop digital means to provide resolutions to SDG issues?
How can we capitalise on Saudi Arabia’s digital advancement to assist in transforming the nation’s healthcare system?
Can we suggest means and ways to provide under-served populations with equal opportunities for healthcare and education?

National Strategy for the Sustainability of the Red Sea
His Excellency the President of #جامعة_المعرفة : The approval of the honorable Council of Ministers on the national strategy for the sustainability of the Red Sea, and the establishment of a program (generosity) to support society through the adoption of sustainable development projects, are among the fruits of #رؤية_السعودية_2030 that seeks to build a sustainable future, and a decent and stable life for the Saudi citizen.
