His Highness the Governor of Diriyah inaugurates the capacity building course of the Healthy Cities Program at the Colleges of Knowledge

His Highness Prince Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Abdulrahman Al Saud, Governor of Diriyah Governorate and Chairman of the Diriyah Health City Program, inaugurated on Tuesday, April 11, 2017, a capacity building and skills development course for employees of the Diriyah Health City Program, at the Business Center at Knowledge Colleges.

His Highness also signed with His Excellency the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Knowledge Colleges, Dr. Zaid bin Mohammed Al Zamil, a community partnership agreement to serve the community, which is the first community agreement for the reconstituted Healthy Cities Program.

His Highness thanked the program’s employees for their efforts during the past period, calling on everyone to continue working towards community service, and thanked the Knowledge Colleges for implementing this course, and for the agreement that will allow the development of the program and serve the Diriyah community.

For his part, the coordinator of the city of Diriyah, Fahd bin Abdulrahman Al-Awwad, explained that the course lasted for two days and all employees of the program participated, and comes after the program completed the restructuring of the main committee and executive committees, and the registration of the city of Diriyah in the Healthy Cities Network of the World Health Organization as a first stage, and work is underway to complete the requirements of the second phase of registration, which includes achieving the standards of the World Health Organization that are directly related to society, in preparation for obtaining the final registration, indicating that the course targeted members of the main committee And members of the executive committees and members of the Community Participation Committee and introduce them to the future work and activities of the program.
